About the Fellowship

The fellowship is 6 months fulltime. It is generally booked 2-3 years in advance and is for orthopaedic surgeons who have completed their fellowship training and are endorsed by their local association.

It covers all aspects of Foot and Ankle Surgery including forefoot reconstruction, mid foot arthritis and degenerative conditions, hind foot deformity and arthritis  and ankle arthritis and deformity including ankle arthoplasty.

The fellowship is clinically based with 4 to 5 private operating lists per week , 2 to 3 clinics per week and time allocated for research. Prospective fellows will be encouraged to produce a peer reviewed article for publication during their time here.

There is a limited on call roster as part of the clinical service and a formal collaboration with the Western Health public hospital network, involving on call trauma, outpatient clinics and elective surgery.

Annual stipend  approximately $AUD90,000.00
