MORI is the not for profit research and education institute associated with and supported by MOG. Our mission is to support orthopaedic research and education in Melbourne through fellowship training, registrar training, clinical research, and peer review publication.

Our mission is to support orthopaedic  research and education in Melbourne through fellowship training, registrar training, clinical research, and peer review publication.

The Institute is supported by public and industry donation and by the Melbourne Orthopaedic Group. It is registered with ASIC as a not for profit organisation.

Our Activities

  1. Upper limb (supervisor Mr Greg Hoy)
  2. Lower Limb (supervisor Mr Andrew Shimmin)
  3. Foot and Ankle (supervisor Mr Tim Schneider)

We provide post fellowship training to orthopaedic surgeons.  Our fellowships are accredited with the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA).

We also engage with the Australian Orthopaedic Association in registrar training and unaccredited registrar training.
